Digitizing :

Embroidery Machine :

These are commercial multi-head embroidery machines that convert digitized designs into embroidered patches using polyester or rayon threads.

Cutting :

The embroidered fabric is cut with high precision using laser cutting, which seals the edges and prevents the design from fraying. It can also be cut using heated steel dies or mechanical presses, depending on the patch style and production requirements.

Border Finishing :

A dense, raised border—typically a merrow edge (overlock stitch) or a hot-cut border—is applied around the perimeter. This secures the edges and gives the patch a clean, finished look.

Backing Application :

This is the final step of the process, where a functional backing is applied to the patch. Common backing options include heat seal (iron-on), PVC backing for added stiffness, Velcro (hook-and-loop), and adhesive backing.
